Shuanliu HuaYang
Experimental Primary School, first set up in the 12th year of
the jiaqing period,Qing Dynasty(1807),is one of the municipality's
key primary schools with approximately 200 years of history. It
was initially named "YuanYin School", subsequently "ZhongXin
No.1 Primary School", "HuaYang No.1 Primary School"
"Primary School Attached to Sichuan Shuangliu Normal School",and
eventually renamed "Shuangliu HuaYang Experimental Primary
School" on Dec,6th,2001.The school covers an area of nearly
50 mu, with fragrant orange osmanthus, green lawns, a beautiful
garden, a broad sports ground, and a dark blue swimming pool,
which make for a favorable educational circumstances. In succession,
it acquired well equipped computer room and a modern education
IT development center. It has also set up a school TV station,
and a school computer net. It has a total teaching staff of 137.
The primary school section includes 35 classes, 2208 pupils and
the pre-school section includes 11 class, 666 children.
In the past few years the school
has been sticking to the "Everything-for-Man" educational
ideology, adhering to the management principle of "Highly
Qualified, Characterized, and Modernized" and thereafter,
putting forward the struggle objec-five "to run a qualified
and characteristic school, to train qualified and talented teachers
and to real qualified and specialized pupils". The leading
group has been vigorously strengthened, the teaching staff promoted,
the management system reformed and the school conditions greatly
improved ,which has already enhanced the school onto a continuous
