Sichuan Chengdu Finance & Trade Vocational High School (CFTS), whose predecessor is Chengdu No.32 Middle School, was founded in 1957, reformed as Chengdu Commercial Vocational Middle School in 1983, renamed in 1986 as Chengdu Finance &Trade Vocational High School. It was assigned as provincial key vocational high school by former National Education Committee in 1992. In November 1999, it merged former Chengdu Xingzhi Vocational

High School and was called as the New CFTS. In 2000, CFTS was assigned national key vocational key vocational high school of the first batch by national Education Committee.

　　The headquarter of CFTS is located in No.26, Zhaozixiang, Xian Middle Road, Chengdu, while the school’s western district is located in No.25, Nanxunxiang, Huapaifang St., Chengdu. CFTS has transport facilities and fine scenery. It covers 34238.62 square meters, among which 23225 square meters are construction area. Now CFTS has 145 specialized teachers, among whom 86% are junior or senior teachers and 190 teachers have obtained the professional skill certificates.

　　CFTS adheres to the direction of socialist school running, serving for socialist modernization. It also sticks to diversified school running mode such as coordinating with enterprise to run school. Now CFTS has formed three main departments, i.e., accounting & finance, commodity management and tourism service.
