甘肃省电力试验研究所是甘肃电网的技术监督中心、技术服务中心、技术开发中心和技术信息中心，现有职工337人，其中硕士研究生19人，大学本科135人，教授级高工3人，局级专业技术带头人14人，高级工程师57人，工程师84人。拥有固定资产3126万元。 |
| 所内设有锅炉、汽机、高压、系统、电测、热工、化学、环保、水机、水工、金属、计算机和技术信息等13个专业室。二十多年来，该所为甘肃电力生产和建设解决了大量的技术难题，全所有18项科技成果获省、部级科技进步奖，有3项成果取得国家专利，有11项成果获甘肃省电力工业局科技进步奖。该所坚持技术服务、科技开发和新机组综合调试并举的方针，短短8年，先后完成了国内外26台机组的成套启动调试。有73名工程技术人员先后赴美国、加拿大、德国、日本、印度尼西亚、泰国、英国等国家参加国际技术交流、技术引进和综合调试。展望新世纪，甘肃电研所将一如既往，为电力工业的发展做出更大的贡献。 |  |

| Gansu Eectric Power Test &
Research Institute(GEPTR) is the technical supervision centre, technical service centre,
technical developing ecntre and technical information centre of Gansu Electric Power
administration. Now there are 337 workers and staff members in this institute, among them
19 people have master's degree, 135 people have bachelor's degree, 3 people are
professors, 14 people are leaders of the special technology, 57 people are senior
engineers, 84 people are engineers. 13 specialized research offices that GEPTRI has set up are as follows：Boiler, Turbine, High-Voltage, Power system, Electrometric, Instrument & Control, Chemistry, Environment protection, Hydraulic machinery, Hydraulic construction, Metal detection, Computer and Information. During the past twenty years, GEPTRI had solved a large number of important technical problems. The institute has achieved lots of research successes：18 items are with province of ministry-level science and technology rewarde, 3 items are gotten national patents, 101 items are with GEPIB-level rewards. GEPTRI insists on the policy of technical service, the science and technology developing and the commissioning test simultaneously. In eight years, the adujsting and testing and trial running of 26 generating units have been finished successfully, 73 people have visited U.S.A, Canada, Germany, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, England and so on. We'll have a more prosperous and fruitful future. |
